Set in a
Spectacular Location
Nestled in the sheltered hamlet of Nedd on the side of a sea loch bearing the same name (Nedd in Gaelic is ‘An Nead’ and means ‘the nest’), Nedd sits along the B869, a dramatic coastal road linking Kylesku to Lochinver, part of the North Coast 500 route (NC500). Remote but not isolated, the village of Drumbeg lies just over a mile to the west with a well-stocked shop. The pristine beaches of Achmelvich, Clashnessie and Clachtoll are easily accessible.
Explore our wild croft with its spectacular sea views over Loch Nedd looking towards Lower Badcall, Scourie, Handa Island and to the distant mountain peaks of Fionaven, Arkle and Ben Stack. We also have commanding views over the dramatic western side of Quinag, a mountain that dominates the horizon in this part of Assynt and is popular with walkers.
